About the walk:
A self-directed bicycle route leading you on a scavenger hunt through small, local, food merchants. You can discover and collect your provisions along the way then share your experience and delicious finds at a community picnic at the end of the route.
Pick up a Panier Picnic map and give yourself 1-2 hours prior to the picnic time to ride (or walk) the route in full or in part. Pick up some of the suggested food items (and/or anything that tickles your fancy) from the shops you choose to visit along the way. At the final destination, spread out your picnic blanket and eat!
On Sunday, May 5th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Lanspeary Park (Ottawa Street entrance), we'll be there to share our experiences and most delicious discoveries together at a community picnic.
Start/End Location:
Picnic event is at Lanspeary Park - Stone Gate entrance off Ottawa Street, between Langlois and Pierre Aves. The self-directed tour via the Panier Picnic map can start/end at any point.
