DT is extremely nostalgic for me and I am constantly finding the beauty tangled in with the urban setting, and often encourage others to do the same through my photography.

Exterior sketch of the Duff-Baby Mansion, 1998
Artist: Evelyn Grey McLean

This drawing depicts the historically significant Duff-Baby Mansion, Windsor's oldest house, built in 1798 by Scottish fur trader Alexander Duff. It was drawn by Evelyn McLean, a founding member of Les Amis Duff-Baby and a driving force behind many projects in the group's thirty year history. Although Ms. McLean passed away in December 2020, her influence on Windsor's heritage and cultural communities will be felt for decades to come.

This drawing depicts Shawnee Chief Tecumseh's dinner inside the Duff-Baby Mansion, in the Fall of 1813. This piece captures the moment that British leaders learn of advancing American forces, signalling a retreat towards Chatham and leading to Tecumseh's death at the Battle of the Thames.

I left everything behind and moved to Canada two years ago. My departure collection is the image of all my memories on my hard journey to get to here.

I found joy in exploring outdoors alone through the pandemic. It's magical to capture nature in it's essence.

Series: Gravy Train Community Concert
Artist: Lauren Hedges | @LaurenHedgesCreates

As part of the Gravy Train book-your-own-concert series, Oak Street (between University and Riverside) organized a 45-minute set from Max Marshall with food and drink delivery from Phog Lounge, Craftheads, and Slices. Households kept together to eat and drink, and everyone wore masks to mingle. These photos capture pandemic community-building in action as old friends reconnected and new acquaintances were made.
