Using Essex Centre as a canvas, we will walk the downtown talking about housing affordability in rural and smaller communities. We will use the general make up of the town as a conversation starter by beginning to look at macro factors impacting smaller communities - driven by demographics and national trends. As we walk we will drill down to the more specific community driven impacts getting under the hood of how local decisions can and cannot tackle one of the pressing challenges.
