About the event
Love Where You Live: Bruce Park Village
Saturday, May 2nd: 1:00 - 2:00 PM
Host: Nate Hope (Downtown Windsor Community Collaborative)
It's a beautiful day in the downtown neighbourhood! Join us for a walk through Bruce Park Village discovering how neighbours are collaborating together to impact where they live. The DWCC has been active in the community for over 15 years loving their neighbourhood.
We believe change happens when we love where we live. By sharing garden veggies, shovel sidewalks without asking, or greeting each other with a friendly smile we can make downtown better for everyone. On the walk you will hear stories of neighbours working together to make downtown a good place to grow up, and a good place to grow old.
About the host:
Nate Hope is a neighbour and community advocate in the Bruce Park Village where he works as a community developer with the DWCC. The DWCC works towards a downtown that is a good place to grow up and grow. We believe this happens in a loving community where everyone has a chance to be valued and find a place to belong.
