This seated presentation features a selection of historical homes along with tales of: Kingsville’s first carjacking in 1918, an 1875 divorce settlement, the daring robbery of a residential “liquor vault” during prohibition, a soldier who received a $500 cheque for getting shot in the head, 1905’s first Transcontinental Automobile Race across the US, the “Cedar Beach millionaire” who couldn’t afford bail, a woman’s overnight escape from 1885’s Northwest Rebellion, a sailor who served on the USS Arizona on 7 December 1941, and a missing Anglican minister.
