Learn about the exciting history of the Essex Railway Station! This tour will cover its' story from the moment the tracks were laid, to its transformation into the Michigan Central Railway Depot and how it managed to survive 2 explosions. We will take a short walk next door to the Old Station Inn (1870), then walk back to the station and tour the beautiful 1887 Essex Railway Station (Essex Depot).

The Essex Railway Station is operated by Heritage Essex, a non-profit body that is dedicated to the preservation of heritage sites, articles, and artifacts throughout the town of Essex.
