You may know Albert Kahn as the Architect of Detroit but his work occurred far outside of the Motor City's borders. From Scotland to the Soviet Union, from Brooklyn to Baltimore, his work helped to shape the built environment in industrial communities across the planet, including right here in Windsor.
Join Jacob Jones, from the Albert Kahn Legacy Foundation, on a walking experience that will immerse you into the world of Walkerville that Albert Kahn helped to create. We will delve into Albert Kahn's craftmanship and impact in Walkerville and around the world. This tour will include a look at the Strathcona Building, where the first Albert Kahn plaque was unveiled last year.
