About the event

Wilkinson's Corners to the Four Corners: A History of Leamington's Uptown

Friday, April 24, 2026 from 2:30 to 3:30 PM

Host: Laura (Essex County Library)

From one of the cornerstones of Leamington's Uptown, the library, we will take a look back at how the uptown area has grown and changed over the years.  From its beginning as a crossroads hamlet to a famous tomato town with a booming greenhouse industry, Leamington has transformed time and time again and its uptown area has had to keep up. We will explore the past and look forward to the future of this not-so-small town.
