A cemetery is a place where every death had a life, and every life has a story. Windsor Grove Cemetery is over 160 years old, and has lots of stories to tell. Tour this historic gem with the Cemetery Team of the Essex Branch, Ontario Genealogical Society, which has been working here for over 5 years, unearthing and photographing markers, and documenting those interred here in order to assist individuals researching their ancestors.
Many stories about both famous and infamous residents of Windsor have been uncovered during their work. Learn about Windsor Grove's history, and the stories of many individuals interred here. Local history shakers, front-line workers, creative individuals, and citizens with just interesting stories. So much to uncover. Join us for Jane's Walk to find out so much more.
