We hear a lot about the history of Windsor’s employers, from Walker to Ford, but what about the everyday people who worked for them? This walking tour will explore Ford City through the lens of the working class people who worked in Windsor’s plants and lived in their shadow.

Learn about how workers built solidarity in their communities to support each other through the ups and downs of labour history. Learn how people connected with one another and supported each other through events like the Ford Strike of ‘45. Who were the people who lived here, and what lessons can we learn from the workers of the past?
