Take a walk along Dalhousie Street and through the King’s Navy Yard Park to learn about Amherstburg’s history as a busy river town. We will visit the sites of industries and businesses that thrived as a result of the town’s location along an international waterway, and walk past houses owned by the mariners who lived and worked here. From shipbuilding to salvage operations there’s lots to talk about along Amherstburg’s waterfront.
