About the walk:
Join Kara Folkeringa & Meg Reiner for a stroll down Dalhousie Street starting near the Bob-Lo ferry dock (340 Dahousie Street), moving towards Belle Vue House, and back again. As we walk, we will discuss the many ways Amherstburg’s history is entwined with the river. Stops along this walk will include structures and spaces that benefited from their close proximity to the water such as industries, mariner homes, rumrunning quarters, and more. We’re looking forward to diving into Amherstburg’s marine history with you.
