About the walk:
Enjoy a walk alongside Fox Creek and the shore of Lake Erie while exploring the 19 acre John R. Park Homestead Conservation Area with your guide, Environmental Educator, Jessica Rose. This family-friendly experience will introduce and explore a variety of parenting styles used by wildlife in our region. From theatrically protective parents to abandoned eggs, we will even talk about plants as parents! Signs of spring will be all around us, in this Provincially Significant Wetland, and we will be sure to take time to notice and appreciate them as well.
Please Note: This walk will travel over grassy lawn, as well as a tamped stone trail. It may not be suitable for all mobility devices and strollers.
