A collaborative, virtual walk that ties together various narratives of/on/tangent to the Detroit River; geologic, artistic, industrial, cultural, etc. (Zoom presentation)

A Map of the Detroit River (Zoom Event)

Saturday, May 7: 10:00 - 11:00 AM

Location: Via Zoom

Host: Thomas Provost / The University of Memphis

Please note: this will be a special one-time Zoom event that will not be recorded, so be sure to join live!

Thomas Provost will be building upon last year's Detroit River history & mystery tour that tied together various narratives of/on/tangent to the river; geologic, artistic, industrial, cultural, etc. Focusing on oral history and storytelling, this virtual walk builds a vision of the Detroit River as a networked environment across space and time — a material ecology. Participants will collaborate and offer their own narratives on this walk.

About the host:

Thomas Provost is an architect and educator with a portfolio of speculative projects located within the space of the Detroit River.
